“I’m writing you this letter so you can use it as means of validating Tyson’s understanding of the role of your company (SLFi) in the Tyson Lube Program strategy.
We recognize that SLFI has demonstrated great expertise in formulating products for particular applications. Specifically, we understand that the product you offer for ball rail chain and gear lube in our freezers works better in extreme low temperature environments that anything our conventional suppliers offer. Also, we note that your one product offering here potentially replaces two SKUs we may be currently purchasing elsewhere. For this reason, we encourage you to visit our sites, and make folks aware of the benefits of this particular product. Also, we’ve discussed, if/when our strategic sources are unable to develop other products for special applications on an “as needs” basis, SLFI is the company that we’ll look to first to engineer custom solutions for our needs.
