“This E-mail is sent for anyone to read that might be considering SLFi… oil for their Frigoscandia equipment. We have been using SLFi… oil in our freezers for over four years.
I have been happy with the 6831.32 Formula of SF80FG oil made by SLFi… in which we have five freezers using this oil. We are using it in the lubricators for the balls, ball chain, as well as the gearboxes. We recently switched all of our freezers to plastic balls, and I have seen very little wear in the balls, chain, and rails. Keep in mind that the plastic balls may only last 12-24 months, but the balls are easy and cheap to change out. We switched to plastic balls so we would not wear out the rails as quickly. I would recommend the 6831.32 Formula of SF80FG for anyone that is looking for a lower cost oil for their Frigoscandia Equipment.”
