“Tired of prematurely replacing ball rails, chains, glide strips and other very expensive components on your self-stacking spiral freezers?
At a customer site with a self-stacking twin belt spiral freezer running at below -60 °F for 18 hours a day, the manufacturer’s lubricants protecting the gearboxes and ball rail components was replaced with SLFi’s Spiral Freeze -80. The oil seemed to more evenly coat the ball rails and glide strips. The amp draw on the gear motors did not increase even later in the production run, indicating no increase in friction. During the sanitation cycle the CIP system naturally removed noticeably more grit and debris from the ball chains than when using the manufacturer’s lubricant. I truly believe SLFi’s products improve the life cycle and hygiene of your freezing equipment.”
