We have been using SLFi Lubricants in not only our Freezers we also use SLFI in our ovens. The blends that are in these lubricants are very well fine-tuned to perform above expectation.

My words to you are why pay to have Frigo oil in your freezer when you can save your company money by using a better product than you are using right now. We have been with Mike Gandy and SLFi for many years and have become not just a customer to them, but a friend. They have always stepped up to the plate and delivered us quality product at a fraction of the cost that we paid for other oils that were not as good. If you are under a contract with JBT I understand why you are not using SLFi as it is part of your contract to use the frigo 410.

We could have put the oil in our equipment that JBT is using right now as they buy it from a company local to us here at Brake bush, but I believe that has changed now also as someone probably offered them a better deal. Product that you sell should not be price justified it should come from quality. This oil was not as good as the oil I am getting from Mike. We are getting very good wear in our freezer especially in the ball and rail area. We also use a blend that mike makes for us in our gear boxes inside of the freezer. Have you ever had your freezer down because your lubrication inside of your gearbox froze? This was a common thing that happened to us a long time ago especially if you went into cold hold. When starting back up it didn’t want to move. I am not writing this to you as a salesman for Mike I am writing this to you as a customer of a great product. There is a big difference between salesman and end user, if I felt as an end user that this product was just ok I probably would not write this for any company.

Many years ago a guy showed up at my plant and asked me for a chance to sell us oil for our ovens. I remember going outside to his minivan to see what he had for a product. Since that meeting I have purchased his lubricants for all of my machines including grease for our conveyors. Yes we are a huge user of his products, but you don’t get to have this much product in a plant if the product that you are selling is not the best for the amount of dollars that you need to spend. I can tell you one thing and that is customer service is top notch and the respect that you get from them will not be just a visit today and off to the next sale. If you don’t get this I want to know!!

Our PM’S are very important and near and dear to our hearts this is what keeps our machines running and trust me we are constantly checking thing to assure that everything is in tolerance. This does have a lot to do with the life of the parts on the equipment but not totally. Your freezer has plastic balls and these balls need to be checked to make sure that the chain is not making contact with your rail. If the balls get out of tolerance or they are gaped wrong this is one of the biggest problems that a freezer can have and will eat parts up faster than you can make money to replace them. It is no joke rails and chains are very expensive items and the plastic balls are cheap. So my only question to you is why wouldn’t you want to put the best lubrication in there? This could actually save you some money and your cost savings could pay for the plastic balls when they are in need of replacement. This is a win for you and a win for SLFi. Give them a try and you won’t be sorry just ask a satisfied customer and that would be me. Thank you
